This hands-on session invites neighbors, artists, and style enthusiasts of all levels to explore the art of shoe design in a supportive, inspiring space. Together, we’ll dig into how footwear reflects identity, movement, and storytelling within our communities.

Guided by Joshua Wall of No More Paper Ideas - participants will learn the basics of sketching, material selection, and color design—then create their own concept inspired by personal experiences and shared conversations. This workshop is all about connection: exchanging ideas, uplifting local talent, and celebrating the creativity already present in our neighborhood.

All supplies are provided, and everyone is welcome—just bring your perspective and your imagination.

Meet the Designer:

Joshua Wall is a gatherer by nature. He can be described as peculiarly curious about why people believe what they believe. He is a designer by trade working previously for Stuart Weitzman and New Balance. He now runs No More Paper Ideas teaching students Footwear Design specific skills.
