Meet The Host:

Coach Shon is an artist, social worker, and community advocate dedicated to empowering youth and strengthening families--especially boys and men of color. Through creative, culturally responsive programming, Coach Shon teaches essential life skills that build confidence, emotional intelligence, and self-expression. With experience collaborating with several North Carolina nonprofits focused on youth development, Coach Shon bridges art, outdoors, education, and social impact to create safe, engaging spaces where young people can thrive. Her work centers on family empowerment, identity development, and helping youth recognize their potential both on and off the court, in the classroom, and in life.
